Oliver Jones

Record:

Played 63: Won 18, Lost 36, Drawn 9

* Ollie played for the South at Woodhall Spa where he did the right thing and lost his match.  He then did the right thing again at Burnham and Berrow & Princes

Strengths & Weaknesses:

The comeback kid**. Most people when three down with four to play start to worry. Ollie, on the other hand has the opposition where he wants them and at the Machrie surged to two famous victories from this position. An ever present competitor since the start, Ollie has two putters in his bag to prove that he can putt badly with both of them. Something of a streaky player, he can be a competitive 22 handicapper or just shit.

Opposing Captains View:

A good competitor who can be unsettled when challenged in the mental stakes. Definitely feels there are some members of the opposition who may have his number.

·         Apart from St Enodoc where Pete and Ol were 4 up with 4 to play and tied
