It’s Time to Head South
The British Lions will not be the first representative team to visit South Africa in 2009 as the Hemisphere Cup will host its 10th annual match at Pinnacle Point in April 2009. Having bounced around the British Isles for 9 years, to celebrate 10 years of golfing, drinking and making new friends it was time to have an away match!
Set on the edge of a
magnificent coast, Pinnacle Point Beach and Golf Resort is situated at the
gateway to the Garden Route.
Uniquely defined by two intimate, secluded beaches along four kilometres
of spectacular coastline, Pinnacle Point is located on four hundred hectares of
prime land, of which one hundred hectares is nature reserve. The resort is home
to indigenous wildlife, birdlife and 264 varieties of fynbos - a nature lover's
delight! All this is sensitively
integrated with an eighteen-hole championship golf course, with dramatic
cliffside holes designed by renowned golf architect Peter Matkovich.
Pinnacle Point will be a great venue for the Hemisphere Cup.
